This morning I had breakfast with one of the most charitable and generous people on the Sunshine Coast – Matthew Murray. As so often happens, Matt kicked off by pushing a cheque across to me… on this occasion it was for $20,000. By my estimate this takes the total he has donated to Compass over… Thanks to your generosity we raised $27,200 from our recent charity race night which will go towards the Compass assistance dog program A big thank you to Jazzercise Nambour & Cooroy for running the fundraiser for Compass and for putting on an excellent evening. The trainees had such a wonderful time and really love opportunities like this to be included in mainstream activities such as this. Looking forward to the next one!!

When we were first looking at options for Nienna after finishing at Special School, the most important thing for us was finding somewhere that would help her work towards more independence. It’s a smile we all love – not just Compass staff, but also, pretty much every visitor that comes to Compass Farm knows Caitlin, as she’s often the first to greet them and make them feel welcome with her big and vibrant personality. He has gained more confidence and become more adaptable to ever-changing situations. He has connected with his peers and trainers and become quite a happy young man.
