Real life skills in a gourmet kitchen!
The Harvest Kitchen is located on Compass Farm and provides a wide range of food production learning opportunities for 8 trainees on any given day. Run by Compass Trainers Tina & Jordan the commercial style kitchen produces a wide range of condiments including the chutneys, jams, pickles, sauces etc that you all know and love so well. The Agricultural Show at Nambour in 2016 saw the Harvest Kitchen Team win First Prize for several of our Jams and Chutneys.
Harvest Kitchen’s largest contract is with Cricks Sunshine Coast who provide a box of HK goodies to the purchasers of all new and used cars. One of the Harvest Kitchen teams also prepare up to 40 lunches for staff and trainees every Wednesday.
The items are available for purchase through our Garden Cafe located at the Maroochy Botanical Gardens, Tanawha, where there are also many other wonderful hand crafted gift ideas available. You’ll have to visit and stock up on your favourites… while they last!
