Within moments of Maddi Shannon entering the photo studio, it was like someone had turned up the lights. Her spirit was so bright, and her smile filled the room. She was captivating. A star. Lester Carey is a young man who doesn’t let his disability get in the way. On the days he attends Compass Farm, he does everything from working with animals, to making things in the woodworking shed, packing our jams and chutneys and being a farm hand. Tohbias and her parents are among those people in this world that are just special. It’s difficult to describe why, but it’s a sentiment that’s shared by many who know them.
