In the heart of the picturesque Maroochydore Bushland Botanical Gardens, you will find Compass’s Garden Café. Established in 2017, Garden Café offers a range of light snacks and sweet treats, including homemade delights and a variety of coffees and teas.
Garden Cafe is open from Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 2:00pm
Not pets allowed as the café is inside the Maroochydore Bushland Botanical Gardens.

Like the Compass Connections Cafés, Garden Café was founded as part of a vision to provide meaningful vocational opportunities for people with disabilities looking for real-world café and hospitality experience.
Garden Café has provided support for over 45 Trainees to date through the development of real-world skills across food preparation, cooking, coffee making, customer service and money handling. For our Trainees, being able to learn these skills and serve their community every day is a dream come true!

Garden Café also has something extra special about it – we have integrated a select range of beautiful hand-crafted items from our boutique retail store, Wabi Sabi Creations. You will find jewellery, pottery, chopping boards, hampers and much more, all made by our very own Trainees from across our Compass campuses.
Stop by and surround yourself with greenery and some heart-felt smiles and conversations, while you enjoy a coffee and a treat – and maybe even a little something special to bring home to a loved one!

Garden Café also offers catering for local businesses and events.
We have catered for everything from community events and local government gatherings to funerals and birthdays. Compass Trainees are also involved in our catering offering and are part of the team helping to prepare and package up your food and beverages!
Why not choose a social enterprise for your next gathering? Get in touch for more information and to chat with our friendly café crew about our catering packages.

Set within the Maroochydore Bushland Botanical Gardens, the Garden Café is surrounded by a landscape that invites people to slow down, explore, and connect with nature. Winding walking tracks lead through native bushland, open lawns create space for gatherings and quiet moments, and shaded picnic areas sit alongside vibrant gardens filled with local flora and birdlife.
It’s a place where the natural environment becomes part of the experience, where every visit offers something different, whether it’s a peaceful walk, a moment shared with others, or simply time to pause and take it all in.
