The Cook oversees the day-to-day running of our kitchen, ensuring that the quality of food preparation and customer service is consistently maintained. Based in Maroochydore, this casual Friday role offers a pay rate of $35.15 per hour and the opportunity to bring your flair and passion for hospitality to life by preparing a variety of café-style foods and takeaway meals that cater to the community.

Use your hospitality skills to create a welcoming café environment while supporting trainees to build confidence and workplace skills.

In this role you will:

• Prepare fresh café-style meals, takeaway items, desserts, and pastries
• Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and food safety standards
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Assist in creating a positive and supportive kitchen environment

Position Requirements:

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Evidence of Australian Working rights
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check (Blue card)
